Triple eccentric butterfly valves for H2 service
Engineered and qualified specifically for hydrogen applications, the AJ TOV combines carefully selected materials, optimised valve geometry and dedicated validation testing to deliver safe and reliable performance across the hydrogen value chain.
The valves are ideally suited for:

They are available in sizes DN100–1500 (4”–60”) and pressure ratings PN10–PN250 / ASME Class 150–1500.
In addition to the standard hydrogen-service version, a cryogenic version is also available for applications requiring reliable performance at extremely low temperatures.
Proven in a hydrogen application
The AJ Series 985 has already been selected for hydrogen service in a major 3,000 MTPD ammonia Synloop project in Texas, where the valves provide isolation on a hydrogen feed line connected to the ammonia synthesis unit.
The application places high demands on sealing integrity, material selection and long-term reliability. AJ triple eccentric butterfly valves were selected to provide reliable isolation, reduced sealing wear and consistent long-term performance under the project-specific operating conditions.
